Arriving (2004)
“Arriving” is packed full of praise to the “Lord God Almighty” and Chris Tomlin is simply saying how “awesome” God is throughout the album. From the upbeat “Indescribable” to the gentle “Mighty is the Power of the Cross” there is something for everyone on this album. A great CD for Chris Tomlin fans.

Indescribable
Listeners are brought into “Arriving” with the upbeat “Indescribable” which praises God for what he had done through creation. This is a nice Christian music song which will help you to fully appreciate the world around you. Chris Tomlin sings with great passion and thanks God for the world we live in.

Holy Is The Lord
The first thing that strikes me about “Holy is the Lord” is how perfect it sounds for singing in a more contemporary church. It is simply a Christian music song praising God as He is “awesome”. The lyrics seem a little empty with no real depth, are easy to sing which will prove to be a plus point if used for singing in churches.

How Great Is Our God
Many people would have heard “How great is Our God” and may be even sung it in church, as again it is easy to sing and is likeable with a pleasant tune. The lyrics simply say “how great our God is” and again seem a little empty. However, this is a very successful worship song used in many churches and liked by many people.

Your Grace Is Enough
The beginning of “Your grace is enough” sounds much more exciting than the previous three Christian music songs with a fast beat and guitar rifts, but unfortunately that is the best part of the song. Chris Tomlin is singing that the grace of God is enough for him.

“Unfailing Love” thanks God for never changing and praises Him for His never ending love. This Christian music song jogs along at a nice pace but the music and vocals are nothing special.

Chris Tomlin is singing of the longing he has for more in his life in the Christian music song “The way I was made” and how he wishes to be the man God intended him to be. This is an upbeat song with an excitable chorus that simply asks God for more.

The slow and gentle “Mighty is the Power of the Cross” sings of the power of God and thanks Him for the cross and what He did for us. This is a very long Christian music song, and the listener may get a little sleepy with the dull tune and gentle singing, or may take pleasure in this quiet song for use in reflection.

All Bow Down
“All Bow Down” is more excitable than the previous Christian music song with an energetic chorus which should wake up the listener a bit. Chris Tomlin is singing of the return of Jesus and that everyone will praise Him and bow down to Him. The long instrumental seems to have been placed to make the song a little longer, and is a rather lame ending.

The upbeat “On Our Side” sings of the joy Chris Tomlin feels to have God on his side, and that nothing will separate him from God’s love. This is an enjoyable Christian music song to listen to with great background music and backing vocals.

“King of Glory” gets more excitable as it progresses through the song and it is hard not to be caught up in the excitement as Chris Tomlin sings “You are the King of Glory” at the end of the Christian music song. This is another praise song that simply sings that there is one God and we must bow down to Him.

Chris Tomlin praises God for Creation in the Christian music song “You do all things well”. The poetic lyrics sing of the wonder of creation and how perfect it is. The words are beautiful to listen to, and this Christian music song is a good ending song to the album “Arriving” as it reminds us that God is all around us.
