This inspiring album is introduced to us through the song “Prelude” which sings of Ginny Owens decision to write this album. The lyrics combine well with the simple music to produce an excellent first song.

The effective vocals of Ginny Owens bring us straight into the song “With Me”, and it is a lot of fun to listen to. Ginny Owens is reminding us to embrace every moment of life as it is from God. This is a great upbeat song that reassures us that God will always be here throughout the unpredictability of life.

The lyrics in “Run to You” speak of running to God when “the shadow of confusion hides the truth”. These clever lyrics sing of humankind coming up with their own answers to life’s questions as they can not understand them. God, however, is the only answer that can be drawn and the truth of God will never diminish. This is an exciting upbeat song, with insightful lyrics and simple music.

“I Am” is a very effective song which talks of three people in the bible: Mary, Moses and David who all doubted what God wanted to do with them. Ginny Owens assures us through this song that God has plans for us which we can not see yet and there is often a “bigger picture”. This is a very insightful song which is a delight to listen to.

That person is of course God, and Ginny Owens will not give up until her friend has found peace in Jesus. This is a very strong song that will no doubt be applicable to many of us.

Ginny Owens sings of trying to recreate the love and faith she had as a child in the song “Simply love you”, and how she often runs out of time in her day to day to life. The emotive lyrics go perfectly with the simple music and this is altogether a lovely gentle song.

We can choose to do good or evil with our own hands, and Ginny Owens reminds us that we shouldn’t keep our distance from people who need us. Ginny Owens reminds us through “True Story” that we are all “masterpieces” even though we are filled with imperfections. God will always see through the false front we put on in front of other people, and he knows all our dreams and thoughts. We are now gently brought into “All I Want To Do” which sings of Ginny Owens desire to live all her life for God and how He provides her with everything she needs, even though she believes herself to be acting selfishly in every day life. This is a nice quiet song with easy to listen to lyrics.

This inspirational album ends with the quiet and gentle “Be Still, My Soul”, where Ginny Owens is emotionally singing of the trust she has in God providing everything she needs. God will guide us perfectly through our life, and so we should all be at peace and stop worrying.
