Mary Mary (2005)
The R & B sisters Erica and Tina Campbell have amazed us with their latest romping stomping album “Mary Mary”. Their choice of pop and gospel style Christian music songs mixed with their trademark R & B appeals to people both inside and outside the church. Mary Mary lyrically excel in this album and blow us away with their vocal ability. This is a fantastic album with rhythmical songs that all contain an important message.

Believer
“Believer” is a groovy song that sings of the testimonies of the two sisters, and how God saved them first from a fire and then from a car crash. The fun chorus sings of the reasons that Mary Mary believe in God. This is a refreshingly smooth Christian music song and reassures us that God will always be there for us. This is a very exciting start to this funky album.

Biggest, Greatest Thing
Mary Mary will now astound you with their ability to successfully achieve completely different styles of music in the jazzy “Biggest, Greatest Thing”. They are telling us that God is the “biggest, greatest thing” in this world and that we can see Him everywhere, if we just looked. The beautiful lyrics let us experience Mary Mary’s excitement as they look forward to seeing God face to face.

“Heaven” is a gospel like Christian music song that sings of the beauty of heaven and of May Mary’s desire to go there. They are eager to see all the happiness and beauty and sing of heaven in such a positive light that it will make you desperate to go there. The smooth vocals, fab harmonies and hip hop Christian music makes this a fantastic song that will appeal to all.

Wow – you better get out your dancing shoes for the next one as “Real Party” is a disco-like contagiously fun song that sings of making some noise for God while we can. All the glory is being given to God through the thing that Mary Mary do best – making some noise!

A cool rap begins the song “Save Me” which sings of a boy who after years of trouble in an inner city found that the only person who could help him was God. Mary Mary also sings of a girl who regrets putting her boyfriend before God and getting pregnant before marriage. The chorus which sings of the need everyone has for God is soothing and reassures that God can help us in our troubles. This is a very insightful Christian Music song with great gospel vocalisation.

The beautiful ballad “Yesterday” sings of Mary Mary giving all their problems to God “yesterday” and that God took all their problems away.
