Introduction: Newsboys
Newsboys originated in Australia and are an exciting Christian music band which is now based in the USA. They are being recognised all over the world for their contemporary Christian music and their devotion to God, as they owe their success to Him.
The initial hard years in the Christian music industry were overcome by the Newsboys incredible passion and determination to spread the word of God through their music, even to the point of leaving their home town. Their devotion to do God’s work is amazing, and they just do not give up.
The current members of newsboys are Peter Furler from Australia (lead singer, producer, drums, guitar); Phil Joel from New Zealand (base guitar, lead vocals, songwriter); Bryan Olesen from the USA (guitar, background vocals); Duncan Phillips from Australia (lead drummer, percussion); Jeff Frankenstein from USA (keyboards).
